Ford Freestyle Compact Utility Vehicle Launched

The American automaker Ford today has unveiled a new compact utility vehicle called the ‘Freestyle’, which will hit the Indian car market by April this year. The car will get powered by a brand new 1.2 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine with a five speed manual transmission, and the new model will be able to generate a power output of 96 PS.

Besides the SUV styling on the out, the new model will also comes with 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system in the inside which is compatible with the Apple CarPlay and also Android Auto. It is the global unveiling of the model in the country and was unveiled in South America as well.

The model will be manufactured at the company’s Sanand plant and will be exported to some of the major markets which includes Europe and the Middle East.
