Xiaomi has probably turned down the Mi 5X Launch in India, and might launch an all new series of smartphones in the country.

The latest teaser shared by the official Mi Twitter handle has a video, showing a new series of Xiaomi phones coming to India. Earlier, it was being speculated to be the Mi 5X, but now it seems like an all new series.

Xiaomi was in talks with Google to launch their Xiaomi Android One device, which will offer Stock Android for mid-range affordable devices. Android One is a toned up version of the Mi 5X only.

Though they have maintained the dual camera fiasco in the latest teaser too, they are hinting at the launch of their new anticipated global device with some variants.

Xiaomi on Thursday shared another teaser for the ‘global launch‘ of a new device on Tuesday, though retained the hashtag of ‘flagship dual camera‘. But now Xiaomi adds another new line, “Introducing a new series”.

This seems confusing, and Xiaomi will probably launch their global device with Google –Xiaomi Android One.

The smartphone will be called Xiaomi A1, and is heavily inspired by the company’s recent mid-range flagship – Mi 5X, which comes with dual cameras.

To end with, the Android One is a initiative by the search giant Google, who are trying to provide an affordable, certified and stock Android devices to the users in emerging markets around the world.

The phones come with a promise to smoothen up performance and give quick updates.
